"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

This piece has been recieved so positively, I am offering it as a print for a limited time. society6.com/product/korra--as… . More art and prints can be found at my Society6. Thank you all so much. If you have an issue with this picture, I don't wanna fight you. So just move on and forget this picture. Ignore it. Forget. Its not worth wasting your time for just an image to debate little ol me. But I think one thing should be considered -- That the final scene was to show the deep affection they had for one another: Love. And that's a very important connection. I drew this picture because of what I felt was the intensity of their connection to one another. Their bond that was shown in the "Korra Alone" episode especially made me feel the final scene was appropriate. I loved that episode more than any other in the season. Again, I personally thought that final scene was perfect as it was. It was subtle and powerful and I wouldn't change a single thing about it.
I drew this because I would like to think the creators would've like to show their connection explicitly like this, but just couldn't do it. Almost all the other couples had a kiss or some expression of their love, so why couldn't Korra and Asami, as well. I hope what you take away from this picture is that its about Love, and nothing more. Cherish your loved ones. And respect others as you would expect them to respect you. The world is diverse, lets learn to embrace it, and find balance in diversity.
